Nicola Peltz recently shared why she was crying at her wedding with husband, Brooklyn Beckham.
As fans will be aware, it has been reported that the 30-year-old star started crying at her own wedding because Victoria Beckham tried to “sabotage” her son and Nicola’s spotlight.
Nonetheless, in a new chat with Glamour, Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham discussed how they spent some special moments together after their “intense” wedding.
She went on to note, “Weddings can be intense, especially when you’re busy making sure everyone else is having fun. That little break reminded us what it’s really about: us.”
To this Brooklyn, who is currently indulged in a “cold war” with his brother Romeo, responded, “I totally agree.
“After the ceremony, find time to disappear for a second. We took a quick drive, just the two of us. It was perfect. Also: love each other, be honest, and always protect one another.”
Nicola even confessed that she was “terrified” at her wedding day to the extent that she started “crying.”
“I was so nervous. Saying our vows in front of that many people? Terrifying. Someone told me, ‘Just look at Brooklyn.’ And as soon as I did, the nerves faded,” Nicola added.
“When my dad took my hand and said, ‘Are you ready?’ I just started crying. I couldn’t even look at him. I was thinking, My make-up! And when I walked down the aisle, Sekou was singing ‘Songbird’ live. I still get goosebumps just thinking about it,” she recalled before mentioning that after seeing Brooklyn her anxiety disappeared.
