So, Steven Guilbeault is sadly now back in cabinet. After just having beaked off about not needing any more pipelines until the newer one we have (TMX) has been fully maximized, he is not only perpetuating disinformation, but also showing that despite having just been named Minister of Culture, he clearly has no couth.

Al Willey

(We’ve heard the only culture some people have is bacterial.)

More money for Ontario

PM Carney needs to fire Steven Guilbeault because he lied about Canada’s TM pipeline capacity and using that lie he justifies his opposition to building more pipelines. How nutty. I could argue that the Ontario Niagara region already is serviced by existing roads, trains, and automobiles so who needs the super passenger link from Quebec to Ontario? And why should it be built with federal taxpayer money?

Abram Wiebe

(Because they elected him. Seems like a legit reason)

Good samaritans

My sister was in a car incident last Friday (May 9) at 40 St. and 72 Ave. To the lovely lady who called 911 and provided the witness statement to police while on her break; THANK YOU!. And to the man with the red hair and beard who cut away the airbag; THANK YOU! My sister has no serious injuries and will be OK. Your help that day is immensely appreciated.

Rachel Rawlinson

(So happy to hear she’s alright. Way to go Calgarians!)

Just Silly

An olive branch to Alberta from PM Mark Carney, how absurd (if not silly) to say the least. Just until Carney gets his much desired majority government. The federal Liberal government is only two seats away from having a majority government in Ottawa. Until then, Mark Carney sits on his agenda and waits patiently. When PM Carney does finally obtain his majority government, the province of Alberta will once again become Ottawa’s primary target for abuse, misuse and disgusting ridicule.

Straight Shooting

10% income tax. Zero Federal? How is it possible? Who pays for our military, police, border security. intelligence, money minting/distribution, mail service, politicians’ pension (existing), and the gross national debt(76,135per capita?)? Do we pay that back before separating? Zero federal tax sounds more like a Trump promise of a dreamland than a reality to me. Lets vote Quebec out instead and solve 150 years of a minority getting everything they want at our expense.

Mike Popovich

(Anyone separating from Canada feels very extreme right now.)
