Think on it a little longer

If so many Canadians detest and distrust Donald Trump, then why on Earth would so many voters (as reported in so many polls) be considering casting their vote for Mark Carney, if he is Trump’s preferred choice for Prime Minister? I doubt that they’ve thought this through.

(Here’s hoping most voters see through the smoke and mirrors and vote on just the issues.)
New, greatest QB
The best Quarterback on the Calgary Stampeders won’t be Vernon Adams Jr. this year, it will be “PJ” Walker. I watched “PJ” in the XFL and he reminds me of a young Warren Moon. If he gets the chance to play I fully expect “PJ” will be the most exciting player in the CFL. On Labour Day you can expect “PJ” to make Tre Ford look like molasses compared to “PJ”. This will only happen if Stamps Head Coach Dave Dickenson gives him a chance (which I’m not confident will happen). Dickenson has been the ringmaster of bad decisions in his career. I expect this is the year Dickenson finally will be fired. But I may be wrong. “PJ” may just be the Saviour that saves Dickenson’s career!

No playoffs for you
Some people say the Calgary Flames don’t belong in the playoffs. The Calgary Flames had a good young team for the 2024-2025 season. I hope that they have the same team again for next season 2025-2026. Ryan Huska is a good coach and Craig Conroy is a good general manager. Maybe next spring 2026 Calgary Flames will make the playoffs.

(A good coach and good general manager should have a team good enough to make the playoffs.)
Just not enough
Re: Killer Of Popular Banff Resident Handed Automatic Life Sentence For Murder…
A twelve year life sentence is hardly a life sentence, by any stretch of the imagination. It’s more of a blatant farce, reflective of an already broken-down judicial system. Our courts of law are basically slapping convicted murderers on the wrists, as they get away with murder in this nation. Innocent human lives seem to have little value in our courts today.
Donald K. Munroe
(Things need to change at the federal level for harsher sentencing to even be an option.)
