So, claim the Liberals, “we are a changed party.” No, you aren’t. Mark Carney’s despicable defence of candidate Paul Chiang (who told people they could collect a bounty if they turned over a Conservative candidate to Chinese authorities) was indefensible. Even worse, by calling it a teachable moment, he was continuing the same sanctimonious, woke lecturing and speaking down to Canadians we were subjected to from Justin Trudeau.

From current polling, it appears many Canadians haven’t had enough of that attitude from Justin and want it to continue. Carney has also shown he possesses the same bad judgment as his predecessor. At least Chiang finally had the grace and decency to voluntarily step aside. Or was he voluntold to resign to save his leader?

Either way, it shows that, even with Carney, the Liberals have not changed.

(Well said.)

HOW DARE CARNEY?

How dare lifelong banker and Liberal Leader Mark Carney defend and excuse Paul Chiang, an ex cop and now ex-Liberal wannabe politician who encouraged people to kidnap a Conservative candidate and fellow Canadian in order to receive a bounty from China? If turned over, it could have been a death sentence for the Conservative candidate.

(Defending it is just unacceptable.)

UTTERLY DISGUSTING

It was utterly disgusting that Paul Chiang made the comments he did, and for Mark Carney to defend him was beyond outrageous. Are these the kind of people we want running the country?  Carney’s deep relationship with China speaks to his lack of loyalty to Canada and Canadians. The security of the country and Canadians will be at risk if we have another four years of the Liberals.

(We may not survive another four years of the Liberals.)

A matter of safety

When a lot of North American cities are taking fluoride out of their water system, Calgary is adding it. In 2021, the cost was $10 million to add it to the system, now it’s $28 million. Mayor Gondek does not know why it’s taking longer than it should; that’s her only concern, not that the cost has almost tripled. What a waste of taxpayers money. Just another time the City of Calgary has an inability to do anything right, especially when it comes to our water safety.

(It’s going in, will you be filtering it out?)
