In a blink of an eye, with Sonya Sharp announcing her bid for mayor, suddenly it became sleepless nights for the incumbent mayor of Calgary between now and election day on Monday, Oct. 20. Jyoti Gondek could very much become a one-hit mayor in just over six months from now.

Trump’s influence
It’s obvious that Trump would prefer to deal with Carney. Trump knows Pollieve will be a handful and is a smart, skilful negotiator. Trump will steamroll over Carney and the rest of the Trudeau flunkies in the cabinet. Carney will have the same holdovers in his cabinet that Trudeau had. Time for a change? No change voting Liberal unless you want a weaker economy and higher taxes.

Alberta’s time
As I drove on the weekend, my car radio proudly declared the local station’s signature slogan of “Alberta, Independent & The One”. It really summed up the sentiment I’m seeing everywhere in the province right now. Albertans know the waiting game for the “unacceptable” status quo will soon be over. One way or the other, we are leaving the Liberals. The Liberals, who put our province in handcuffs, will never again stop Albertans, and there is a consensus to move forward embracing Albertans’ natural state of working hard and building! So the future without the Liberals has three potential paths:
1. A new independent Republic of Alberta.
2. Join America as the 51st State.
3. Stay in Canada with a Conservative federal government that unlocks resources.
The waiting will soon be over. Albertans best possible energy-rich future arrives April 28th when we start building a “Liberal-Gone” Alberta. Alberta has decided!!!

Carney’s promises to Trump?
So, Mark Carney has a phone call with Donald Trump, and afterwards, Trump is smiling and jovial and saying all will work out as soon as the federal election is done. I would like to know what Carney promised Trump to change his tune so fast. What did the 1% elite promise the other 1% elite? That thought has me very, very worried.
