I keep hearing nonsense about Alberta separation, but it’s all talk and no action. The conservative pundits and politicians like to pretend that Alberta Separatism is a popular movement, but aren’t willing to put their money where their mouth is. Why not call a referendum and settle the matter once and for all? What are you afraid of? Either you get a popular mandate or you get a resounding ‘NO’ and you can focus on things that Albertans actually care about. Quit wasting our time.

(It’s such a fun threat though.)
Just like Justin
It appears that despite not yet winning the federal election, Mark Carney is already channeling his inner Justin. Despite calling the GTA MP Paul Chiang’s comments that someone should turn in a Conservative candidate to the Chinese consulate to collect the million Hong Kong dollar bounty “deeply offensive”, the Markam-Unionville incumbent still has his confidence. “I view this as a teachable moment” stated the current Prime Minister. Say what now ?

What a joke
It’s April fools so it must mean our Federal MP’s are getting their annual raise. The consumer carbon tax ends today because it’s politically expedient and will cost the Liberals votes so we couldn’t possibly have that, but the House of Commons and Parliament has been shuttered for months. This is so the Liberals wouldn’t have to publicly turn over documents concerning their “green slush fund” and so Trudeau could resign and they could hold a leadership coronation, which is just more Liberal expediency. Despite the Liberals profligacy for incompetence, healthy pay raises are due for everyone. Raises are pegged at 3.9% which translates into $7,900 for a backbencher to $15,800 for the Prime Minister. It’s time Canadians treated the elected for what they are. EMPLOYEES.

Protection pay
When the mob wants your money, they ask for protection payment. If you don’t pay, they attack you to show you that you need their protection. For nearly 10 years the Liberals have attacked us and now claim to offer the solution to their brutal treatment of us. They want us to pay them another term. Don’t buy it folks.

(Not only are we not buying, we are wishing elected officials had a return policy.)
