Letters, March 23, 2025: ‘How can anyone support the Liberals?’

Article content

I’ve come to the conclusion Liberal voters are not Canadian. A true Canadian would not support the destruction of one’s country, like the Liberal and NDP parties have done the past nine years. How anyone can continue to support the Liberal party is beyond me. Goes to show brainwashing presides over intelligence. No wonder our country is in the mess it’s in. Thank you, Justin Trudeau.

GLENN HALEY

(Thankfully, we won’t have J.T. to kick around anymore)

Carney’s no PM

Article content

Why is Mark Carney acting like he is already the Prime Minister when has not been elected and does not even have a seat in parliament? Pretending to be de facto Prime Minister when the only people who voted for him was Liberal party as their leader, not ours. Seeing him acting like a pompous a– now, can you imagine him if he actually gets elected? We will be wishing we had Trudeau back.

DEBRA TOWNROW

(An election may remedy that)

Attention Canada

What’s with all the attention on Canada? Something is up. My best guess has got to do with territorial control. We know China has infected all parts of day to day life in Canada. Their “United Front” works department has infiltrated our politics, education, science and others. We now know Mexican cartels have established fentanyl operations in Canada. The U.S. and Trump have designs on taking over Canada. Are we in a turf war. Has Trudeau’s resignation created political instability for these groups? Do these groups fear losing control of the golden goose that is Canada? Something is up. Canada doesn’t deserve this attention — or do we?

JIM MILLER

(Under nearly a decade of Trudeau, Canada has diminished — on all fronts. We need a new direction)

Don’t blame Trump

Trump is NOT an enemy of Canada. But, if you really do want to find the destroyers of Canada, look for them in the LPC in Ottawa. Deflecting everything bad in Canada on U.S. President Donald J. Trump is extremely unrealistic and delusional but mostly not true. We are almost there, my fellow Canadian patriots. Our victory is in tasting range. Stay the course and vote for the CPC.

CASPAR PFENNINGER

(Most of the damage can, indeed, be attributed to the Liberal party, but Trump is showing himself to be no friend to Canada)
